Terms and Conditions for Sales

 

 

This sale is being conducted for the purpose of disposing of surplus property no longer useful to the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

 

 

Property is sold as-is and where is. Some items may have broken, worn badly, or missing parts. There is absolutely no guarantee on any item. We will try to give you the best description possible for each item. The winning bid shall be considered an agreement to buy and is final.

 

Except for motor vehicles, 6% sales tax must be added to and be paid on each item sold if you are a resident of KY or if you, or a representative on your behalf, will be picking up your winning item(s) at our warehouse unless exempt. These amounts will be added to the winning bid and will be included in the total purchase price paid by the buyer to the seller.

 

Payment for auction items (other than motor vehicles) must be received within 5 business days from the close of the auction.

 

If the purchaser has a valid resale tax ID number a copy must be sent or presented with payment. Farmers purchasing farm equipment must inform Surplus Property of their status.

 

 

After the Division of Surplus Property has received payment in full, you will have five (5) working days to remove all the equipment sold.  All equipment sold "as-is" and "where-is". The Commonwealth of Kentucky makes absolutely no warranty on any equipment sold.
